Recorded early 2021 in Jake's makeshift studio, 'Cascade' documents new explorations through a DnB and jungle nebulous whilst simultaneously paying homage to the pioneers of the jazz piano trio format. Boundary-pushing and adventurous, an energetic evolution transports listeners with high intensity drumming, the use of bass guitar distortion and slamming piano motifs. The piece is constructed of three extended improvised sections.
